I began writing Life As It Happens as an online journal in June 1998. In November 2ooo I added a blogspot blog. In August 2002 the blog launched at this domain name.
Since then it has continued sporadically. Up until around 2004 I wrote regularly.There were at least monthly entries.
More recently my updates have been very rare. In that time, I moved to Austria, then to Ireland, then (sort of) to Scotland.

I have now replaced Movable Type with WordPress and from now on I intend to begin regular updates again.
