I was up this morning at 5 comforting our daughter who woke suddenly. It was dark outside. Then I went back to bed.
At 8 my wife woke me to point out that it was bright outside - more than usual. There was a light covering of snow on the ground, and it was still falling.
It kept falling for an hour or two, then it stopped. By the afternoon it had mostly gone. When I went to collect Katie from the kindergarten it was freezing (and dark) but there was no sign of snow.
It will probably snow again tonight but the snow will probably not stay all day for a while yet.
The big shops like Aldi and Lidl have snow gear for sale - but the items won't go on sale until next week. Brrrr....
